Cremation Services

Glenwood Crematory began operation in 1989 and is still owned and operated by Mankato Mortuary in partnership with the Glenwood Cemetery Association. Glenwood Crematory is located on Glenwood Cemetery property in Mankato.

Glenwood Crematory will perform the cremation of the body of the deceased in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and will meet or exceed currently accepted industry standards.

Glenwood Crematory does not provide cremation services directly to the public. All requests for cremation and the delivery of the deceased for cremation must be handled through a funeral establishment licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health.

There are several options to consider when selecting cremation as the final disposition. Discussing these options with your funeral service provider can be helpful in making the decision for cremation.
