Jeffery James "Moose" Holmgren

Jeffery James Holmgren, age 52, of Mankato, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, October 9, 2017, at Pathstone Living.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mankato, with Pastor Michael Omtvedt officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Jeff is survived by his mother, Shirley (LeBrun) Stippel; brother, Scott (Vickie) Holmgren of Mankato; nephew, Andy (Kayla Tomisin) Holmgren; great niece, Kenzie Holmgren of Mankato; niece, Amanda Holmgren of Mankato;  brother, Douglas Holmgren of Mankato; sister, Michelle (Arlow Christian) Holmgren of North Mankato; nephew, Tyler Holmgren; niece, Lindsay Christian of North Mankato;  son, Kyle Holmgren of St Peter and step daughter, Bailey Kreuser of St Peter; step mother, Janice Holmgren; step brothers, Chris and Jason Neegaard ; and many aunts, uncle and cousins.

Jeffery was preceded in death by his father, Rodney Holmgren; grandparents, Peter (Emma) LeBrun and Edwin (Leona) Holmgren; and aunts, Patricia Ziegler and Rosemary Anderson.
