Douglas "Doug" C. Browne

Douglas “Doug” C. Browne, age 88, of Mankato, died on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Pathstone Living.

A burial will take place at Glenwood Cemetery at a later date.

Douglas was born on January 11, 1929 in Mankato.  He served in the United States Navy from 1950-1954.  Doug worked for the Blue Earth County Highway Department as a surveyor for many years.  After retirement he enjoyed spending time woodworking. 

Doug is survived by his caregivers/family, Krissy Rodriguez, Jenny Stamereilers, Dawn Ervin and her children, Taylor and Tyler Adams, and Daniel Stamereilers; special friend, Tim Rykhus; nieces, Suzette Johnson and Elaine Sundell; and nephews, Mike Browne and Lee (Patti) Browne.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters; and close friends/family, Warren and Barb Stamereilers.
