Mankato Mortuary 1001 N Riverfront Dr Mankato, MN 56001 507-388-2202 Leo James "Moose" Black Leo James "Moose" Black, age 55 of Mankato, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015 as a result of a car accident. He will fondly be remembered by family and friends as "Moose". A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 12, 2015 at United Pentecostal Church, 119 State Street, Mankato, with Pastor Jeremey Cox officiating. A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service at the church. Arrangements are with Mankato Mortuary. A private burial will be held at a later date at Woodland Hills Memorial Park. He was born on January 26, 1960 to Leo and Sharron Black. He is survived by his son, Danny Kump; parents; siblings, Teresa (Dennis) Leiferman, Lorrie (Bill) Weber, Michelle (Don) Manderfield, Jay (Kelly) Black, Rick (special friend, Beth) Black, and Jenny (Robert) Hendrick; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, 3 sisters, and his beloved dog, Jake (NAUGHTY BOY) who was his best friend. He was admired by many but loved by all. He was always calling siblings with a song and expecting them to finish the song. If we didn't finish the song, he would then finish it for you! He loved to fish back in the day with dad and grandpa. He loved bowling on the computer. He was a great son and brother and one hell of a great guy. We love you big guy - scratch my back!
