Mankato Mortuary 1001 N. Riverfront Drive Mankato, MN 56001 (507) 388-2202 Marvin Herbert Schull, age 77, of St. Clair, died Sunday, February 1, 2015, at Seasons Hospice in Rochester. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 6, 2015, at St. John's Lutheran Church in St. Clair, with Rev. Matthew Grunewald officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Ev. Lutheran Cemetery in St. Clair. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at Mankato Mortuary, and continues one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice. Marvin was born August 2, 1937, in Mankato to Herbert and Lillian (Herzberg) Schull. He was a 1955 graduate of St. Clair High School and attended Mankato State University. Marvin was united in marriage to Maxine Witt on June 16, 1959, in St. Clair. Marvin was the owner of Marv's Locker in Good Thunder and Hi-Way Meats in St. Clair. He also assisted with his family's farm, drove Charter bus for many years, and was a Mankato City bus driver for 30 years. Marvin was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in St. Clair, where he was active with the Church Board. He was also a member of the St. Clair and Good Thunder Volunteer Fire Departments. Marvin enjoyed hunting, fishing, bird watching, gardening, bowling, playing cards, reading, spending summers at their cabin, and time spent with his family. He was a friend of Bill W. and proud of his 41 years of sobriety. Marvin is survived by his wife, Maxine of St. Clair; five children, Pam (Bob) Jagdfeld of Madison Lake, Dale (Margie) Schull of Hayward, WI, Tom Schull of Pemberton, Patty (Steve) Fandrich of St. Clair, and Dawn Schull (Jon Scribner) of Mankato; nine grandchildren, Michelle Cords (Brian Dell), Melissa (James) Nobles, Molly Schull, Dustin (Michelle) Schull, Chelsea Schull, Tyler Fandrich, Megan Fandrich, Brad Johnson, and Julia Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Amari and Jayda Nobles; one sister, Marlene Schultz of St. Clair; one brother, Gerald (Darlene) Schull of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Wesley.
