Mankato Mortuary 1001 N. Riverfront Dr. Mankato, MN 56001 (507) 388-2202 Marion Jean Chambers, age 80, of Mankato, formerly of St. James, died on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Pathstone Living. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Augustana Lutheran Church with Rev. Kathleen Ulland-Klinkner officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the Lamberton City Cemetery. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Marion was born on October 13, 1934 to John and Alma Metteer in Selma Township in Cottonwood County. Marion is survived by her two sons, Kevin (Susan) Chambers of Marietta, Georgia and John (Shelly) Chambers of Mankato; grandchildren, Sam Chambers, Teddy Chambers, and Ashley Chambers; and sister, Myrtle Finstad. Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald "Brownie" Chambers; and 13 brothers and sisters.
