Northview ~ North Mankato Mortuary 2060 Commerce Drive North Mankato, MN 56003 (507) 388-2288 Mary Catherine Cline, age 87 of North Mankato, died Thursday, December 18, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by her family. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 22, 2014 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in North Mankato with Rev. Paul van de Crommert officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 - 5 p.m., Sunday at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato. Visitation continues one hour before the service at the church on Monday. In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to spend some time with your family and raise a glass to Mary. Memorials are preferred. Mary Cline was born October 26, 1927 to Rudolph and Gertrude (Smith) Janzen in Aitkin, Minnesota. She graduated from Aitkin High School in 1945. Mary was united in marriage to Jack Cline in Aitkin on September 5, 1948. The family moved to North Mankato in 1958. Mary was a homemaker for her seven children. She and her husband owned and operated Cline's V Store. Later she was a bookkeeper for several local businesses. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church and Holy Rosary Circle. Mary enjoyed playing cards, casino gaming, traveling, cooking, times at the lake, Thursday night sewing Club, and most of all enjoyed time with family, her children, grand and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her seven children, Pam (Dick) Kirby of North Mankato; Mike (Karol) Cline of Chesterfield, VA, Patrick (Lisa) Cline of Bloomington, MN, Timothy "Chopper" (Beverly) Cline of St. Clair, MN, Kay (Spark) Green of Mankato; Mary (Kelly) Cook of Mankato, Danny (Lynette) Cline of North Mankato; Brian Bigaouette; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Janzen of Chaska; five sisters, Betty (Gordy) Pasell of Aitkin, Tresie Hill of South St. Paul, Helen Gabrio of Camas, WA, Patsy (Joe) Gabrio of Eugene, OR, Jean (George) Garbutt of Mt. Airy, MD; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jack in 1993; son-in-law, Richard Kirby; grandson, Shane Kirby
