Ray Edgar Dingler

Mankato Mortuary 1001 N. Riverfront Dr. Mankato, MN 56001 (507) 388-2202 Ray E. Dingler, age 89, of North Mankato passed away on December 9, 2014. Ray was born in Mankato, MN on August 8, 1925 to Edgar and Martha (Plautz). Ray enlisted in the United States Navy in 1942 and served his country as an Aviation Machinist's Mate E Second Class. Ray was united in marriage to Loreen (Taylor) on September 6, 1947. After his time in the service, Ray worked in the sheet metal industry. He was a proud member of the American Legion Post 11 and was a past commander. Ray enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ray is survived by his wife, Loreen; children, Gary (Debra) and Rayleen (Tony); and grandchildren, Nicole, Forrest, and Matthew. Burial will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a future date.
