Our beloved husband, father, son, and brother, Benjamin Ulman, found serenity and peace on March 28, 2014. Ben was born on January 15, 1976 in Mankato, MN to Michael and Nell Ulman. Ben and his wife of 5 years, Tracy Ulman (Osborne), lived in Mankato, MN where they raised their three children.

Ben sustained a brain injury 18 years ago and silently dealt with the struggles and challenges of that injury everyday. Ben did not allow this to defy or limit his love for his family and friends. Many people will remember Ben by his contagious smile and his generosity.

Ben had a passion for fishing and hunting and shared that love with friends and family whether to inform you of the hot fishing spots or to join him in the newest adventure.

Left to treasure his memories are his wife, Tracy Ulman (Osborne); three children, Blake Johnson, Kira Ulman, and McKenna Ulman " Mankato, MN; parents, Michael and Nell Ulman " North Mankato, MN; grandmother, Victoria Wagner " Onamia, MN; siblings, Molly (Christopher) Davis, Matthew (Jennifer) Ulman, Jenny (John) Nelsen, Jeremy (Nicole) Ulman; 12 nieces and nephews; mother and father-in-law, Thomas and Deb Osborne; sister-in-law, Melissa Osborne; and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Ben will be sadly missed but we understand that Ben will be at peace in the comfort of the Lord's arms.

Funeral service will be at 11 am on Wednesday, April 2nd at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato with Rev. John Kunz officiating. Visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 1st at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Mankato.
