Judy E. Meyers, 67, of Eagle Lake, formerly of St. James passed away March 14, 2013 in her home.

A Visitation and Sharing of Memories will be held from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary.

Judy was born in Lakefield, MN to the late August and Isabelle Hecht. She graduated from Lakefield High School in 1963, and worked for Hyman Freightways in Roseville, MN. On August 28, 1971, Judy was joined in marriage with Carl A. Meyers of Butterfield, MN. She enjoyed snowmobiling, playing cards, reading, shopping, discussing politics, and spending time with her family, pets, and friends.

Judy is survived by her husband Carl Meyers; daughter, Kristy Meyers of Mankato; grandson, Lance Meyers of Eagle Lake; brother, Owen (Darlene) Hecht of Hastings, MN; brother-in-law, Rodney (Judy) Meyers of Carlos, MN; sisters-in-law, Avis (Dennis) Oeltjenbruns of Bloomington, MN and Sharon (Dennis) Nordby of New Ulm, MN.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, August and Isabelle Hecht; sisters: Betty (John) Eng, Bernice (Mario) Martino and baby sister, Lois; brother, Walter Hecht; father-in-law, Clarence Meyers; mother-in-law, Thelma Meyers.

Judy was a source of much laughter, joy, and comfort to all that knew her, and her passing will leave a hole in all of our hearts, she will be missed by many.
