Donald J. Shary, age 59, of Mankato, Minnesota died Saturday, March 9, 2013 at his home.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Northview -North Mankato Mortuary with Reverend Peter Nosbush officiating. Visitation will be from 12-noon, until the time of service. Burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery in Mankato.

Donald Joseph was born June 21, 1953 to Donald E. and Jean B. (Amici) Shary in Glendale, California. Growing up he attended school in California. Donald lived in California before moving to Mankato in 1992.

He worked as an automotive body technician for many years. Don enjoyed restoring old vehicles and his pride and joy was his 1956 Ford.

Those left to cherish his memory include his first wife, Theodra Shary and their children: Jason Shary, Nicole Berg and Crystal Mooney; second wife, Teri Shary and their children: Brittany Shary, Alan Wentworth and Cody DeHoyos; many grandchildren; mother, Jean Snow; sisters: Delores Donham and Ginny Sinclair; brother, Jeffery Shary; other extended family and many friends.

Donald was preceded in death by his father.
