Deloris M. Miller, age 88 of North Mankato, died, Friday, March 8, 2013 at the Mayo Clinic Health System-Mankato.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Mankato with Pastor Gary Wong, officiating. A visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM, Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Northview " North Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Mankato. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Assc., American Lung Assc., or the Mayo Clinic. Northview " North Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Deloris was born on September 23, 1924 to Andrew and Laura (Krebs) Hansen in Evan, MN. She graduated from Sleepy Eye High School and attended Bethany Lutheran College. Deloris was united in marriage to Donald Miller on August 15, 1947 at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Evan, MN. She was a homemaker and daycare provider. Deloris was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and enjoyed spending time gardening, sewing, embroidering and playing Bingo. She loved life, had a magnetic personality and a wonderful smile.

Deloris is survived by her daughter, Karen (Mark) Schultz of Hopkins, MN; son, Bruce Miller of North Mankato; grandchildren, Riley Welder of Crystal, MN and Laura (Jeff) Van Hemert of Flower Mound, TX; great-granddaughter, Brynlee Van Hemert; sister, Victoria Nielsen; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Deloris was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald in 1987 and her parents.
