Irma Hendley Kozitza, homemaker and long-time resident of North Mankato, died Friday, March 1, 2013.
Irma was buried at Calvary Cemetery in Mankato. Memorials may be sent to the ALS Association, the American Cancer Society, Mayo Clinic - Mankato Hospice, the American SIDS Institute, or to the donors choice. Mankato Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
Irma was born January 4, 1920 to Michael Sebastian "Bosty" and Ida (Timmerman) Wagner, the fourth of 5 children. Irma married Lloyd A. Hendley in 1940 and together they had 5 children: Steven (Rose), James (Mary), Kathleen (Arlo) Hurley, Michael (Diana), and Patrick. In 1997, she married Richard "Pike" Kozitza.
Irma is also survived by her brother, Eugene (Flossie) of Kirkland, Washington; her remaining children and their spouses; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and Richards family.
Irma was preceded in death by her first husband, Lloyd in 1992; her sons, Patrick and James; great-grandson, Alexander Jon; and daughter-in-law, Mary.
