ElLouise B. (Letner) Foster, age 95 of North Mankato, died peacefully Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Oak Lawn Health Care Center in Mankato.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Belgrade Avenue United Methodist Church, with Rev. Dan Horn officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at church and continue until the time of the service. Burial will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park, Mankato. Memorials are preferred to Belgrade Ave. United Methodist Church " "for the roof". Northview - North Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

ElLouise Blanche was born on November 27, 1918 to Robert and Blanche (Johnson) Letner in Luverne, MN. She graduated from Washington High School in Sioux Falls, SD in 1937. ElLouise was united in marriage to Alvin Foster in September of 1938 in Sioux Falls, and together they were blessed with 4 children. She worked for many years as a cashier for Madsen's Supervalu and the Mankato State University Bookstore and was a bookkeeper for Around the Clock Express. ElLousie was a long-time member of Belgrade Ave. UMC, Eastern Star, and the YWCA Antique Club. She was an avid reader and loved collecting antiques.

ElLouise is survived by her children, Gary (Cheryl) Foster, Round Rock, TX, Linda (Bill) Beyer, North Mankato, Jeff (Wendy) Foster, Mankato; grandsons, Mark Pritchard, Scott Pritchard, Greg Foster, Chad Foster, Chase Foster, Joe Foster, and Jon Foster; granddaughters, Jennifer (Pat) Rolfes, Karen (Pat) Rutjes, Aja (Justin) St. Peter, and Alexandra Foster; 16 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.

ElLouise was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin in 2002; and son, Larry in 2011.
