Phyllis Rosanna Kopischke, age 88, of Lake Crystal died Friday, February 21, 2014 at Ecumen's Country Neighbors in Lake Crystal with her family by her side.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 28, 2014 at First United Methodist Church in Lake Crystal, with Rev. Randal Lubbers officiating. A visitation will be from 4 " 7 p.m., on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the Lake Crystal Mortuary and will continue one hour before the service at church. Burial will be at a later date in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Mankato. Memorials may be given to the Mayo Clinic Health System " Hospice Program.

Phyllis Rosanna was born September 3, 1925 to Chris and Rose (Jordan) Anderson in Blue Earth County. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mankato. During WWII, Phyllis worked as a riveter and a clerk at the Five and Dime, where she met her future husband. Phyllis was united in marriage to Lavern Kopischke on October 18, 1945 in Mankato. Together they were blessed with four children. They lived in Mankato, then moved to Lake Crystal where they purchased land and farmed. She worked for Ruan Transport for 10 years as a dispatcher and manager at the Mankato terminal office. Phyllis was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed farming, watching golf, going out to eat, dancing, and quilting. Her family was the center of her world, and she loved every minute she spent with them.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Susetta (Duane) Hackens; sons, Larry (JoAnn), Jerry Lee (fianc", Barb), and Dennis; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Lois Reynolds; sister-in-law, Dorothy Anderson; brother-in-law, Darrell Moon; and many other family and friends.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Lavern in 1986; parents, Chris and Rose Anderson; brothers, Marvin and Norbert Anderson; sister, Betty Ann Moon; and brother-in-law, Tom Reynolds
