Anne M. Doran, age 83 of Jamestown Township, died February 6, 2014 at the Sterling House in Mankato.

Mass of Christian Buriall will be held 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception " Marysburg, Monday, February 10, 2014. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service on Monday. Interment will follow the service at the Marysburg Catholic Cemetery.

Mrs. Doran was born October 9, 1930 in Wabasha to Grover and Mary (Lynch) Posz. She graduated in 1948 from Good Counsel Academy in Mankato. For a short time, Anne attended Mankato Teachers College. She worked for nine years at Northwestern Belle Telephone Company as a long distance telephone operator & service assistant.
She married Robert D. Doran in Mankato at St. John's Catholic Church, November 16, 1957. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Marysburg, the Marysburg Council of Catholic Women, the Madison Lake Area Historical Society and the Summit Center.
Her favorite pastimes were reading, arts and crafts and the theater. She was an amateur artist.

She is survived by her children, Ronald (Ellen) Doran of St. Louis Park, Thomas (Mary) Doran of Eagan, Susanna Doran of Minneapolis, Roberta (Tom) Maki of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Nathan Doran and Ariel Doran.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert; sister, Mary Borak; brother, Joe Posz
