Rodney Lee Stogdill, age 45 of rural St. Peter, died Saturday evening, August 2, 2003 at his home.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at Mankato Mortuary with Pastor Jerry David officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 " 7 p.m., Tuesday at Mankato Mortuary one hour before services at the mortuary on Wednesday. Mankato Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
Rodney Lee Stogdill was born November 4, 1957 to Hadley and Carol (Hylton) Stogdill in Davenport, IA. He graduated from Eldora High School in Eldora, IA. Rodney shared 26 years with his wife Theresa. He worked at Rons Pawn Shop and more recently at Gustavus Adolphus College. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Theresa of rural St. Peter; one daughter, Deni Schlemmer of rural St. Peter; one son Travis Stogdill of St. Peter; mother, Carol Gilbert and step-father, Ronald Wenthe of North Mankato; sister Cindy Gilbert of Lake Crystal; two half sisters, Tanya Payne of TX, Lynn Williams of Des Moines, IA; three half-brothers, Steven McCoy of Ottumwa, IA, Kelly Stogdill and Lonnie Stogdill both of Newton, IA; nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father.
