Vera M. Clark, age 99, of Mankato, died on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Hillcrest Health Care Center.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary (2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato) with Captain Mike Parker officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. Friday at Northview. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens in Owatonna.

Vera Marie was born on February 23, 1915 in Buffalo Center, IA to William and Christina (Abbas) Gustin. On May 1, 1933 Vera was united in marriage to Ervin Clark. They lived in Duluth for many years and spent their winters in Texas. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, and watching the Minnesota Twins.

Vera is survived by her children, Harold of Texas, Robert of Rhode Island, Howard of Faribault, Larry (Merrilee) of Rochester, Wayne (Darlene) of Crosslake, Donnie (Carol) of Mankato, and Evelyn (Pete) Litchfield of Mankato; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, Jerry and Tim.
