Elizabeth "Deaf" Allen, age 92 of Mankato, died on May 16, 2014 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems " Mankato.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato. A visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Elizabeth was born on March 19, 1922 to David and Martha Ferris in Mankato, MN. She was united in marriage to Leslie Allen. Elizabeth worked for Johnson Reel for 30+ years. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, VFW, Ladies Auxiliary, and Eagles Auxiliary. Elizabeth enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing bingo, and will always be remembered as a wonderful cook.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Joanne Schuab, Nancy (Frank) Magill, Leslie (Martha) Allen; daughter-in-law, Susan Allen; grandchildren, Tim Sack, Lisa Gilbertson, John Allen, Jennifer (Kelly) Jerimiahson, Kyle (Jennifer) Allen, Carrie Allen, and Justin (Mary) Allen; 11 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Millie Daufenbach of Mankato; nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie; son, Charles Allen; daughter, Sheila; four siblings, Harold "Cub", Tom "Tommy", Sadie, and Lewis "Boot".
