Visitation will be held for Cheri Ann Rose, age 40 of Waseca on Wednesday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at Northview North Mankato Mortuary in North Mankato. The family will hold a private memorial service at Northview North Mankato Mortuary.

Cheri Ann Rose was born in Thailand on August 13, 1973 to James and Pranee (Nookumnerd) Rose. Cheri graduated from Mankato West high school in 1991 and attended MSU for several years. She has been currently employed for the last fifteen years at Walmart and was currently a support manager. Cheri was blessed with her two nieces and two nephews and would give them the world if she could. She loved spending time with her friends and co-workers; whether it was out playing rounds of disk golf or playing Magic the Gathering. She was able to do a lot of traveling, even making it back to her birth place in Thailand. She was never alone and had her family around her to always support her. Cheri's strong willed nature fought hard against cancer; which eventually overtook her body on May 2, 2014 at Immanuel St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato.

Cheri is survived by her parents, James and Pranee Rose of Mankato; Paternal grandparents, Robert (Luella) Rose of Mankato; sisters, Suzanne (Anthony) Mayer of Mankato and Jennifer Rose of Brooklyn Park; brother, Preston (Mikara ) Rose of Mapleton; nieces, Kaitlynn and Hailee; nephews Michael and Aidan; aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents and an aunt.
