After a brief illness, Michael B. Hart died on Sunday, April 20, 2014. Michael was born on October 14, 1959, in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of James and Carroll Hart.

Michael was the husband of Marilyn Hart, father of Adam and Daniel, and grandfather to Charles. His family and faith were the anchors of his life. Michael leaves a legacy of kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. His sons were a source of joy and pride, as he watched them become men with values and integrity. They shared many passions including nature, gardening, literature, and music.

Michael received his Bachelors degree in Business from the University of Missouri - St. Louis and Masters of Divinity from Concordia Seminary. Michael served the congregations of Zion, Litchfield, IL; Concordia, Granite City, IL; St. Matthew, St. Charles, MN, and Our Savior, Mankato, MN. His life reflected our Lord's care for the sick, aged, meek and hurting.

Michael was called home on Easter Sunday, a reminder of Jesus' resurrection for all believers in Christ. Michael strove to error in grace, perceiving human actions in the best context, reflecting Gods agape love.
