Linda Carol McGraw-Ellesmere, age 68, of Mankato, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Mayo Clinic Health System " Mankato. A memorial visitation will be held 2-5 p.m., Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Northview " North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive. Interment will be in Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to BENCHS.

Linda was born on October 5, 1945, in Minneapolis. She was the daughter of Eugene and Mary (Arnold) Jacobsen. Linda was a graduate of Richfield High School and attended St. Cloud State University. She was united in marriage to Dennis McGraw on June 25, 1965, in Minneapolis. They later divorced. Linda married Frank Ellesmere on August 27, 1987, in Bloomington. She was employed in the food service industry for many years and later worked for the Mankato Free Press from 1988 until 2010. Linda was a member of Zonta and the Lions. She was an avid reader and enjoyed tending to her houseplants.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Kelleen (Joe) Trauger; son, Christopher (Kristin) McGraw; step-daughter, Julie (Chris) Hopkins; step-son, David Ellesmere; five grandchildren, Connor and Brittany Hopkins, Kirsten and Marin Trauger, Teddy McGraw; one brother, Kim Jacobsen; also many nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank in 2012; and a brother, Brian.
