Anna E. Langevin, age 97, of Judson, died on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Oaklawn Health Care Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lake Crystal with Rev. Tim Biren officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service on Tuesday from 9:30-11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery. Lake Crystal Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Anna was born on December 13, 1917 in Faribault to Julius and Elizabeth (Lonien) Vermeersch. She graduated from Faribault High School. On April 10, 1937, Anna was united in marriage to Hector Langevin. In 1942 they moved from Faribault to Mankato and in 1951 they moved to Judson. Anna resided there until she moved into Oaklawn on December 2010. Anna was a stay at home mother when her children were young. In later years she worked for Shari Candy Co. until retirement. Her main interests were cooking, crocheting, embroidering dish towels, and quilting. Many children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and members from the church have and treasure those quilts.

Anna is survived by daughter, Sharon Thomas of Norwood, MN; three daughters-in-law, Carol Langevin of Mankato, Pam Langevin of West Warwick, RI, and Darlene Langevin of Kilseen, TX; brother, Louis (Bernie) Vermeersch of Mankato; brother-in-law, Gene Devons of Montana; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hector; daughter, Janet; three sons, Richard, Wayne, and Roger; sons-in-law, Harland Thomas and Tom Thomas; four sisters, Sue Abelman, Mag Hoffman, Irene VanRyan, and Loretta Devens.
