A Celebration of Life for Wilma M. Grams, age 86, of Mankato will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato with Msgr. Douglas Grams officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning at the funeral home. Burial will take place in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, St. Clair.

Wilma Myrtle (Shutt) Grams was born August 29, 1927 in Scandia Valley Township to Joseph and Zella Shutt. She grew up in Pillager, with an older sister, Ellen and a younger brother, Duane. Wilma was married to Walter Grams, Jr. on July 19, 1947 in Pillager. The couple farmed until Walter was called to serve in the Korean War. When he returned, the couple moved to St. Clair and began their family. Together, the couple enjoyed playing cards, traveling around the country and trying to fish; when lucky enough to land a fish, everyone around the lake knew she had! Wilma had a great sense of humor that will truly be missed. She took pride in keeping her house clean! Wilma died July 28, 2014 at Pathstone Living in Mankato where she enjoyed spending the last several months.

Wilma is survived by her children, Raymond Grams of Pine River, Wayne Grams of Owatonna, Cookie (Randy) Shaw of Mankato; Diane (Mike) Fitterer of Mankato; 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; brother, Duane (Diane) Shutt of Rogers.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter; infant son, Michael; and daughter-in-law, Norma.
