Robin was born August 28, 1956 to Kenneth and Carol Larsen in Fort Riley, Kansas. After many years of moving from one area to another Robin and her family settled in North Mankato, MN in 1968. She attended Mankato West high School, graduating in 1974. She attended Mankato State University until she moved to Kodiak, Alaska in 1977. While residing in Kodiak she met her husband and the love of her life, John Gritman.
She was very creative and with her entrepreneurial spirit she started her first business in 1981 in Kodiak. In 1989, Robin and John moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon. Once arriving in Klamath Falls, with John by her side, she opened RJ Classics. For many in the community their store became everyone's favorite place to shop. Robin loved her business and all her clients. She had such pride in helping everyone decorate their homes including all her families back here in Minnesota.
Her favorite pastimes were reading, gardening, sewing and spending time back in Minnesota fishing with her family. No matter where Robin resided she was always an avid fan of our Minnesota Twins and Vikings.
Robin had such a positive upbeat outlook on life. She is best known to all who loved and adored her for her creative interior design flair and even though she is gone, her love will be here to stay, she touched our hearts with so many things. We will all miss her.
Robin is survived by her husband, John Gritman, of Klamath Falls, Oregon; her mother, Carol Larsen and stepfather, Thomas Millman, of Mankato; brother, Paul Larsen, of Alaska; sister, Valerie Pearson, of Mankato; a niece, Paige Pearson, of North Mankato; a nephew, Regan Pearson, of Mankato; and Stepson, Dan Gritman of Kodiak, Alaska.
She was preceeded in death by her Grandparents, George and Ruth Olson; and stepson, Don Gritman of Kodiak, Alaska.
Memorials may be made to the Mankato Hospice program.
