Brian W. Bergemann, age 36, died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, June 28, 2014.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul Nolting officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 1 from 4-8 p.m. at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held at a later date at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.

Brian was born on August 14, 1977 in Mankato to Waldo and Nadene (Lehnert) Bergemann. He graduated from Mankato East High School in 1996 and from South Central Technical College in 1998 with a degree in Computer Science. Brian was employed with the Davis Family of companies for over 15 years, working with Davisco Foods, Cambria, Davis Family Dairies, Cambria Mortgage, and Sun Country Airlines as a senior information technology specialist. Brian was extensively involved in all aspects of IT within these companies. He had a special working relationship with both the Davis family and their management teams on both personal and professional levels. He was one of the most well liked employees in the companies, both by fellow employees and vendors alike.

Brian enjoyed off roading, snowmobiling, playing cards, and motorcycle rides. He was a lifelong member of NRA and an A.B.A.T.E. member.

Brian is survived by his parents, Waldo and Nadene Bergemann of Madison Lake and sister, Becky Shonbom of Mankato. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and brother-in-law, Rubin "Red Lewis" Shonbom.
