Adlis "Addie" A. Boyum, age 86, of North Mankato, died, Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato with Pastor Lark Carlson Brown, officiating. Visitation will be one hour before service at Northview on Thursday. Interment will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, Mankato.

Addie was born August 29, 1927 to Arvid and Esther (Larson) Carlson in Hector, MN. She graduated from Atwater High School in 1945 and later from business college in Minneapolis. She was united in marriage to Laurell E. "Swede" Boyum on June 4, 1949 in Atwater. Addie worked in customer service at many businesses in Mankato, with the last being a hospitality server at Sam's Club in Mankato. Addie enjoyed gardening, the MN Twins and Vikings, country music, and her family.

Survivors include three children, Cheryl (Dennis) Price of North Mankato, Larry (Carol) Boyum of Mankato, Ron Boyum of North Mankato; five grandchildren, Timothy (Terri) Price, Jason (Renae) Price, Andrew (Julie) Boyum, Jennie (Joe) Howard, Ashley Boyum; four great-grandchildren, Sophie Price, Jaelynn Price, Charlie Boyum, Mason Boyum; brother, Aldean Carlson of Willmar; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Addie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Laurell in 2005, grandson, Jamey Price 2007; four siblings, Donald Carlson, Orley Carlson, Eunice Carlson, and Daryl Carlson.
