Gladys Edith Beetch, age 100, of Mankato, went home to her Savior on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Keystone Communities of Mankato.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Mankato with Rev. Wayne Eichstadt, officiating. Visitation will be one hour before service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery, Mankato. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church or School. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Gladys was born August 16, 1913 to Paul and Clara (Dittburner) Miller in Janesville Township, Waseca County, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Clarence Beetch on August 11, 1937. They had one son, Gary.

Gladys was employed by Chip Steak for many years and retired from there. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Gladys enjoyed eating pizza, hamburgers, and KFC. Her favorite TV Shows were wrestling, "W.W.E. on 53" and "Smack Down" on Friday nights. She enjoyed rides through Sibley Park and visiting with all the staff and her friends whom she loved dearly at Keystone.
Gladys is survived by her sister, Helen Miller of Keystone Communities of Mankato; special friends, Joan Strand and Daryl Holzinger; nieces; cousins; and many good friends.

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence; son, Gary; sister, Clara; brother, Paul; special friend, Charley; and her favorite kitty, Katty.

Those closest to Gladys would like to thank all the staff at Keystone, Hospice, and good friends for the support, kindness and love they gave Gladys over the last 5 years.
