Adeline Frieda Westphal, age 99 of North Mankato, died on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Monarch Meadows in North Mankato.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in St. Clair with Rev. Matthew C. Grunewald officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be given to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Clair. Northview " North Mankato Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

Adeline Frieda was born on March 26, 1914 in McPherson Township, Blue Earth County. She was the daughter of Carl and Ida (Voight) Schalow. She was baptized in April of 1914, confirmed on April 29, 1929 and was united in marriage to Paul H. Westphal on June 28, 1934, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran, St. Clair. She graduated from St. Clair High School in 1932, was a lifelong member of St. John's and a member of the Ladies Aid at the church.

Adeline is survived by her sister, Leona Mace of St. Clair and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul on August 29, 1970, daughter, Margie, son-in-law, Scott Fritz and brothers, Carl and Duane.
