Margie Buysse, age 59, of Mankato, died on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Hillcrest Health Care Center.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in St. Clair.

Margie La Vonne Buysse was born on May 27, 1954 and adopted by Elvin and Lois (Hemingway) Cordes. She graduated from Fairmont High School in 1972. Margie was united in marriage to Jim Buysse. She loved being outdoors. Margie enjoyed gardening, going on walks, and animals.

Margie is survived by two sons, Andy Buysse and Brent Buysse (Alesha Bracht); brother, David Cordes; father-in-law, Paul Buysse; and two nieces, Jessica Zanke and Amber Cordes. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim; mother-in-law, Dorothy; and niece, Kelly.
