Aline Myrna (Purrier) Mann, 83, North Mankato, passed away May 1, 2013 at Monarch Meadows Assisted Living, her home for the last 7 years.

Visitation will take place 5-7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2013 at Northview " North Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be at a later date in Kern's Oak Grove Cemetery, rural North Mankato.

Aline was born, along with her twin sister, Elaine, on December 19, 1929 in Mankato to Gilbert and Irene Purrier. She and Elaine grew up on the family farm in Belgrade Township, North Mankato. Aline graduated from Mankato High School.

Aline cooked for and entertained many, many relatives and friends over the years. She was famous for her buns. Her home on Highway 169 was always open when her children were growing up and she loved it when everyone was gathered around her kitchen table eating, visiting and "discussing" things!

Aline always put her family first and had a special connection with all kids " especially her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Aline is survived by her children: Larry (Joyce) Mann, Garry (Nancy) Mann, and Kathy Mann; grandchildren: John (Christy) Freeberg, Joel (Jessica) Mann, Lora (Eric) McCollum, Tyler Mann, Chelsea Mann, Matthew Mann, and Ashley Strong; great-grandchildren: Hayley, Justin, Garrett, Bradley, Allen, Courtney, Dylan, Briann, Jaden, Tyson, Brandon and Logan. She is also survived by her niece and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Elaine Mann; son, Terry Mann; and grandchild, Nicole Marie Mann.

Aline's children wish to express their gratitude to everyone at Monarch Meadows for their wonderful care and concern. She had many good friends and played lots of cards there.
