Linda Lea Gumto, age 67, of Mankato, formerly of Winnebago, died Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Mayo Clinic Health System - Mankato.

A private family memorial service will be held. A public visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, August 8, 2013, at Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be in Jeffers Cemetery in Jeffers, MN.

Linda was born October 8, 1945, in Windom, MN to Ralph and Marie (Assing) Crouse. She graduated from Jeffers High School in 1963. Linda was united in marriage to Gary G. Gumto on June 19, 1964. She assisted her husband with their business, Gumto Carpets in Winnebago. Linda also worked at the Winnebago Adolescent Treatment Center for many years. Linda and Gary moved to Mankato in 2001. She was a former member of the United Methodist Church in Winnebago. Linda loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her three children, Jim (JoAnn) Gumto of Jackson, Brenda (Scott) Ladd of Elko-New Market, Terri (Greg) Gray of Byron; four grandchildren, Connor and Christopher Gumto, Parker and Jordan Gray; two sisters, Janice (Milton) Glidden and Maxine (Allen) Duncan, all of Windom; mother-in-law, Minnie Gumto of Blue Earth; and many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gary in 2011.
