Lauri (Dhoore) Lewis, age 59 of North Mankato, died Sunday, July 28, 2013 peacefully at home.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 with Rev. Greggory Coop, officiating. A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato. Burial will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato.

Lauri Beth was born on June 20, 1954 to Byron and Joan (Stellmacher) Dhoore in Marshall, MN. She graduated from Mankato High in 1972. Lauri was united in marriage to David Lewis on February 6, 1982 in Mankato, and together they were blessed with 3 children. She worked for US Bank for 41 years. Lauri was an active member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in North Mankato, and was the secretary there for nearly 20 years. Lauri's pride and joy were her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with them along with crafting, bowling, and baking fancy desserts.

Lauri is survived by her husband, David Lewis; her children, Nicole (Leon) Grack, Lisa (Jim) Wendinger, and Michael (Elizabeth) Lewis; her grandchildren, Alexis and Justin Grack, Mackenzie Wendinger, and Madison and Savannah Lewis; 2 sisters; 1 brother; and many other loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Lauri was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother.
