Beverly Sawyer, 75 of Mankato and formerly St. Peter, died on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Pathstone Living in Mankato.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 26, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Peter with visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Memorials may be directed toward the church. Mankato Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.

Beverly Harriet was born on February 4, 1938 in St. Peter to Harry and Helen Kritzel. In 1957 she was united in marriage to Jim Sawyer. They had four children and later divorced. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran in St. Peter and enjoyed knitting, sewing, baking and cooking.

She is survived by her children: Kathy (Mike) Gessner, Margaret (Terry) Taugher and Michael (Vicki); 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister: Carol (George) Balmer; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deb and special friend Paul Ulmen.
