Robert Michael (Bob) Ryan died at his home in Houston, TX, on June 22, 2013.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 10 at 4:00 p.m. at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery in Le Sueur, MN.

He was born in Midland, MI, on February 18, 1956, the son of Clayton D. and Betty Jane Krinke Ryan. When Bob was still an infant, the family relocated to Mankato, MN, where other family members lived. He graduated from Mankato High School and Gustavus Adolphus College.

While working for IBM, in Dallas, he met Suzanne Vick, and they were married on May 26, 1991. Their only child, Michael Liam Ryan, was born in 1996. Bob was a loving and devoted husband and father. He had many, many friends and was liked and admired by all who knew him.

Bob was immensely talented and excelled in many areas. He was a classically trained pianist who spent time with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra; an accomplished vocalist, who led the bass section of the Vocal Majority Chorus, in Dallas; an expert computer analyst and software developer; and overall, an electrical and mechanical genius. At the time of his death, he was a software developer for the Halliburton Company, in Houston. Interment will be in Le Sueur, MN., where his parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents are buried.

In addition to his wife and son, Bob is survived by his aunts, Ruth Severson and Mildred Sandell; his uncle, Robert Krinke; his father-in-law and best friend, Robert L. Vick; as well as many beloved cousins and their spouses and children.
