Gary Lee Rose, age 74, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, formerly of St. Clair, MN, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at La Posada Mesilla Hospice, Las Cruces.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 8, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Clair, with Rev. Robert Schneider officiating. A visitation will be begin at 9:30 a.m. at church and continue until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Gary was born to Carl and Florence (Bruels) Rose on April 26, 1939 in Mankato. He attended St. Claire schools.

Gary is survived by siblings, Shirley Hardie, Dean (Ardis) Rose, Dale (Janice) Rose, Terrence (Dorothy) Rose, Sharon (Thomas) Dauk, Cynthia (Lawrence) Sterle, and Kimberly (Dan Bonin) Rose; also by aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. In Las Cruces, his is survived by special friends, David and Beth Harrelson; guardian, Irene Evens; caregivers, Sofia Hughes, Cristi Atkinson and others.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
