Geraldine "Jeri" Roberts, age 94, of Bloomington, formerly of Cambria and Lake Crystal, died on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 12 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cambria Presbyterian Church with Rev. Penny Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the Cambria Cemetery. Lake Crystal Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Jeri was born on December 6, 1918 to Lonnie and Sadie (Halverson) Evenson in Butternut Valley Township, Blue Earth County. She was united in marriage to Edward Roberts on August 25, 1945.
Jeri is survived by daughters, Janet (LeeRoy) Zeiszler of Bloomington and Carmen Roberts of Bloomington; grandchildren, Amy (Dan) Stensvad, Jim (Larisa) Zeiszler, and Stephanie (Bill) Spencer; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Jake Stensvad; sister-in-law, Maurine Hage; and nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Roberts in 1980; parents; sister, Loraine Roberts; and brother, Vernon Evenson.
