Lloyd Hodgson Tschohl, age 83, of North Mankato, died on Thursday, January 17, 2013.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at New Creation World Outreach Church with Rev. Dave Laughlin officiating.
Lloyd was born on December 4, 1929 in Mankato to Elmer "Bud" and Luella (Hodgson) Tschohl. Lloyd came from a long line of the territorial pioneers and service men/women of this section of the state dating back to 1854. He was unable to serve himself, due to the "two sons rule." Lloyd graduated from Mankato High School in 1949. He farmed his great land for many years. He then went to work at the Dotson Foundry in Mankato for 15 years. He finished things off with becoming an entrepreneur in the property business. Lloyd loved to work hard on his land. He also loved walking/hiking, sightseeing, and his hosts of dear friends and family. He also enjoyed the west coast and the mountains. A soul of honor.
Lloyd is survived by his adopted daughter, Audrey Tschohl and her daughters, Kelli Klitzke and Jessi Klitzke; cousins, Audrey (Tschohl) Kelly, William (Nancy) Tschohl, Betty (Harry) Weingartener, Thomas (Sue) Tschohl, and John (Patricia) Tschohl; and many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Tschohl.
