Beulah Mae Lee, age 93, resident of Hillcrest Health Care Center, formerly of Lake Crystal, passed away early Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Lake Crystal. Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m., Friday, November 5, 2010 at Lake Crystal Mortuary and continue one hour prior to service at the church on Saturday. Private family burial will be held.
Beulah was born April 14, 1917 to Lucas and Marie (Lindquist) Crane at their home in Garden City. She graduated from Garden City Public School and attended Mankato Commercial College. In her early years, Beulah worked for Southern Minnesota Supply Co. in Mankato as a stenographer. She was united in marriage to Alfred "Stub" Lee on May 30, 1937 at her parent's farm with a beautiful outdoor wedding. To this union, twins were born; Dean (Jan) Lee of Amboy; Jean (John) Baughman of Bledsoe, KY; and a son John (Sue) Lee of Buffalo, NY. Beulah came to know the Lord and was baptized at the age of 10 at the Baptist Church in Garden City. She was a dedicated homemaker for her entire life.
Beulah is survived by her three children, ten grandchildren, and one step-grandson, as well as many great-grandchildren.
Beulah was preceded in death by her husband in 1993; her parents; two brothers and a daughter-in-law, Elaine Lee.
