Daniel D. Frederick, age 62 of North Mankato, died Thursday, October 3, 2013.

Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at All Saints Catholic Church in Madison Lake with Rev. Robert Schneider officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 " 7 p.m., Tuesday at Northview " North Mankato Mortuary 2060 Commerce Drive in North Mankato. Visitation continues one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred

Dan was born August 21, 1951 to Cletus and Valeria (Haefner) Frederick in Mankato. Dan graduated from Mankato High School in 1969. He served his country in the US Army from 1970 " 1976. Dan continued his education at Mankato Vo-Tech. He was married to Barbara Ward on August 10, 1979, they later divorced. He married Caroline Christianson on December 30, 1994 in Janesville.

Dan worked at ISJ Hospital in Mankato for many years and later at MICO in North Mankato. He was also a handyman for many. He enjoyed playing cards, camping, garage sales and spending time with family.
