Leone "Lee" Haefner, age 84 of Mankato, died Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Mankato.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in North Mankato with Rev. Peter Nosbush officiating. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. Visitation will be from 4 " 7 p.m., Wednesday at Mankato Mortuary and continue one hour before the service at the church on Thursday. Memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.

Leone was born January 20, 1929 to Albert and Emma (Cottle) Arave in Hooper, UT. Leone married Delbert Hawkins and they had a son, Al. After her divorce, she married Marvin Linderman and they had a daughter, Gloria. They were later divorced. Leone married Glen Hennager and they were blessed with two children, Joni and Kelly. Glen died in 1982. Leone married Wally Haefner.

Leone was a beautician at Brett's and for a long time owned Lee's beauty shop. She then worked at Regis in downtown and final at Carlson Craft. Leone was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in North Mankato. She enjoyed gardening, dancing, and knitting.

She is survived by her husband, Wally of Mankato; four children, Al Hawkins, Gloria (Bob) Harmer all of Utah, Joni (David) Gilman of Lake Crystal, Kelly (Jennifer) Hennager of California; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; many step children; step great-grandchildren; step-step-great grandchildren; brother, Kenneth (Dorothy) Arave of Utah; two sisters, Marlene (Bob) Baird of Utah, Marjorie (Richard) Lewis of California; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by husband Glen; former husbands, Delbert and Marvin; and a granddaughter.
