Elizabeth Marie (Hasse) Shupe, age 27 of Mankato, passed away Monday, August 26, 2013.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Mankato with Rev. John Petersen and Rev. Patrick Patterson officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 " 7 p.m., Friday at Northview " North Mankato Mortuary 2060 Commerce Drive North Mankato and one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.

Elizabeth was born June 28, 1986 to Shelly Hasse in New Ulm, Minnesota. She graduated with honors from Red Rock Central High School in 2005. She graduated from Rasmussen College with an LPN degree in 2007 and an RN degree in 2011. She was united in marriage to Jay Shupe II on September 22, 2012 at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Mankato. Elizabeth was employed by Mayo Clinic Health System Specialty Clinic in Mankato.

She enjoyed shopping, cross stitching, fishing, camping, reading, and hanging out with the family while sitting around the bonfire. She also enjoyed music and loved singing in the church choir.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Jay Shupe II of Mankato; mother, Shelly Hasse (Jerrold Kunkel) of New Ulm, MN; step-father, Daniel Wenninger Sr. of Springfield, MN; grandmother, Sharon Clyne of New Ulm; brothers, Jonathon (Lily), Daniel (Brittany), Jordon (Nicki), J.P. (Richelle); and many other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Tamra Stanley.
