Reid Alan Fowler, age 34 of North Mankato, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2013.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Mankato with Rev. John Petersen officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 " 8 p.m., Thursday at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive North Mankato. Visitation continues one hour before the service at the church on Friday.

Reid Alan Fowler was born September 18, 1978 to Keith and Elaine (Magnuson) Fowler in Golden Valley, Minnesota. He graduated from Burnsville High School in 1997 and attended Mankato State University. Reid was united in marriage to Brittinni Holcomb on August 24, 2002 in Marshall, Minnesota. The two made their home in North Mankato. Reid worked at Taylor Corporation in North Mankato. He was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church. Reid enjoyed fishing, hunting, biking, camping, volleyball, and spending time with his family. Reid's shining sense of humor made him the center of every gathering. Spreading smiles and laughter to all with witty one-liners and elaborate stories of epic fails and close calls. His presence was always known and loved by all, and will be missed greatly.

Reid is survived by his wife, Brittinni of North Mankato; three children, Abrielle, Madyn, and Gavyn; parents, Keith and Elaine Fowler of Eagan, MN; brother, Chad Fowler of Buffalo, MN; sister, Molly (Dustin) Nystel Woodbury, MN; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jeff and Anne Holcomb of Marshall, MN; brother-in-law, Braden Holcomb of Virginia Beach, VA; sister-in-law, Breha Holcomb of Grand Forks, ND; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by his grandparents and uncle.

Reid will be missed by his family, many relatives, close friends, great neighbors, co-workers, volleyball teammates, hunting and fishing buddies.
