Russell P. Gullick, age 68, of Eagle Lake, died on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Hillcrest Health Care Center.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 24 at 1:30 p.m. at Mankato Mortuary with Carl Carlson officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30-1:30 on Saturday at Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Russell was born on April 7, 1945 in Eureka Springs, AR to Loyl and Evelyn (Brixey) Gullick. Russ served in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1964. Russ was united in marriage to Judie Worrell on January 22, 1983. He was an independent truck driver and drove for Kristico and Reich Trucking. He was also employed at Sears. Russ loved spending time with his grandchildren and his dogs. He enjoyed singing, playing the guitar and working on cars. Russ also enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening, and riding motorcycle.

Russ is survived by his wife, Judie of Eagle Lake; daughter, Sarah Gullick of Mankato; son-in-law, Kory Burkel; step-children, Tammy (Doug) Austad and Kevin (Patricia) Mettler; grandchildren, Alex and Mara Burkel, Melissa, Becca, and Jayden Austad, and Ashley, Alyssa, and Megan Mettler; brothers, Ray, Rex (Pat), Lester (Nancy), and Denver (Janice); sisters, Charlotte, Lorraine, and Loretta; best buddy, Steve Kirkeide; and "brother", Carl Carlson. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Perry.
