Ronald "Ron" David Dodge, age 55, of Mankato, died on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at his home.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 23 from 1-3 p.m. at Mankato Mortuary.

Ron was born on October 7, 1957 in Conrad, MT to Sidney and Beulah (Lossing) Dodge. Ron moved to Minnesota in the mid 1970's. On February 9, 2001 Ron was united in marriage to Tammy Kay Koschnick. He loved the outdoors, especially the mountains of Montana. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, horse shoes, and 4 wheeling. Ron loved spending time with his grandchildren and dogs and spending time on the farm. He was a Vikings fan and was always watching football, wrestling, baseball, and hockey. He could always be found holding a Pepsi.

Ron is survived by his wife, Tammy; children, Ron Jr. (Emilie), Kim (Junior) Hernandez, and Robert (Angela Epps); grandchildren, Josie "Angel", Frank Jr. "Tiger", Sabrina "Peaches", Rayna "Strawberry", Rachel "Raspberry", Nevaeh "Pineapple", and Raegan "Apple berry"; sisters, Marlene (Ken) Kroll and Brenda (Marv) Evans; brother, Sid Jr. Dodge; and dogs, Tazz, Buster, and Ginger. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Isaiah, sister, Cheryll, and his beloved pets.
