Arline "Sweetie" Seppmann, age 87, of Mankato, died on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Pathstone Living.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 12 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9-11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Minneopa Cemetery. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Arline was born on July 18, 1926 in Mankato to Archie and Elsie (Koehler) Knapp. In her early years she worked at the Knapp family grocery store and at Automatic Electric. On September, 7, 1948, Arline was united in marriage to Alfred Seppmann Jr. They had a double wedding with Arline's sister, Lenore and Al's brother, Lyle. Arline worked for many years at the family business, Seppmann Well Drilling.
Arline is survived by four children, Jadd (Peggy) Seppmann of Mankato, Corey (Jody) Seppmann of Mankato, Mylene (Pat) Holmes of Mankato, and Ben (Karen) Seppmann of Prior Lake; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lenore "Ginger" Seppman and
Delores "Dottie" Wortel; sister-in-law, Marilyn Halvorson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters, Eunice Brown and Gladys French.
The family would like to thank the staff at Pathstone for the wonderful care they gave to Arline.
