Charles "Butler" Miller, age 98 of Mankato, passed away at his home on Thursday, November 21, 2013 of natural causes.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, St. Peter. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 pm, with prayer service at 6:45 on Friday at North Mankato Mortuary - Northview and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Mayo Clinic Health System
Hospice.

Charles Willard was born on June 13, 1915 in St. Peter to Albert L. and Emma T. (Young) Miller and was the middle of 11 children. He was married to Anmarie E. Schulte in Mankato. They had 12 children together. Farming was his life and he enjoyed being outdoors. He also was a faithful member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and helped with many church festivities andpicnics. He enjoyed time with his family and friends.

Grateful for having shared in his life are his children: Jackie, Sandra(John) Roberts, Wendell (Mary), Kris (Sandy), Cory, Shelly (John) McDonough, Rory (Janine), Nick (Kim), Rex, Jay (Danette) and Karyne; 20 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Linda; brother LeRoy "Jim" (Margaret); and many other nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his son Allen and several of his brothers and sisters.
