Myrna Mae Just, age 77, of Mankato died Monday, November 18, 2013, at her home.

A Celebration of Myrna's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 23, 2013, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Mankato. Visitation will be one hour before service at the church on Saturday. Memorials may be given to an organization of the donor's choice. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Myrna was born March 5, 1936, to Albert and Helen (Wendorf) Doering in Olivia, MN. She graduated from Olivia High School in 1954. She then graduated from the Bethesda School of Nursing, St. Paul in 1957 and from the University of Minnesota in 1976 as a Nurse Practitioner. She was employed by Mankato State University for over 30 years before retiring in 1998. She was a member of the First Congregational UCC. Myrna enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, bubble baths, spending time with her family, volunteering, and swimming with friends.

Myrna is survived by two sons, Steve (Denise Billington-Just) of Mankato and Bryan (Susan) of North Mankato; four grandchildren, Louis Just, Shanalyn Just, Megann (Trent) Doran, and Andrea (Derrick) Wahlstrom; two great-grandchildren, Helena Just and Traesyn Doran; also nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Myrna was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Carl and Mel; two sisters, Alda and Charlotte.
