Peggy F. Williams, age 88, of Mankato, died Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Oaklawn Health Care Center in Mankato.

A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon, on Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park.

Peggy was born May 16, 1925 to Peter and Mary (Grigsby) Frommes in Mankato. She was united in marriage to Burnham Williams in Mankato in 1944. Together they were blessed with three children, though they later divorced. She was an operator for Mankato Citizen Telephone Co. from 1965 until her retirement in 1988.

Peggy is survived by her son, Peter (Wendy) Williams; daughter, Mary (Glenn) Klaus; grandchildren, Peter (Theresa) Shrader, James (Jennifer) Williams, Steven Williams, Andrew Larson, Kimberly (Adam) Starz, and David (Aria) Klaus; and great-granddaughters, Cassie, Ashley, and Katie Shrader and Emma and Addie Starz.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Douglas Larson; and daughter, Vickie Larson in January 2013.
