Raymond L. Donelan, age 79, of St. Peter, died on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at River's Edge Hospital in St. Peter.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 3 at 5:00 p.m. at New Creation World Outreach Church with Rev. Dave Laughlin officiating. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the church. Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Cemetery in Janesville. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Memorials are preferred to the Potter's House of Prayer or the donor's choice.

Raymond was born on December 3, 1933 in Alton Township to Thomas Jr. and Vera (McGuire) Donelan. He graduated from Janesville High School. Ray served in the United States Army. On May 24, 1958 Ray was united in marriage to Marcella Krenik. Ray spent many years farming and in sales and then was self-employed as an independent contractor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and watching football. He also enjoyed attending auctions and estate sales.

Ray is survived by his wife, Marcy; daughter, Kitty (Mike) Holmes; son-in-law, Mike (Sallie) Bajula; grandchildren, Tiffany Zwieg, Meghan (Sam) Hagen, and Shawn (Nikohl) Bajula; great-grandchildren, Ashton and Jordan Zwieg and Ezekiel and Joziah Hagen; brother, Gerald (Gertie) Donelan; sister, Frances (Lyle) Kunz; brothers and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three daughters, Colette Bajula, Maria, and Melissa; and two sons, Christopher and Shawn.
